Couples looking for a quiet retreat
Spent a lovely few days here with my partner, the rustic and clean room caught us off guard, and the shower was to die for! the staff were super friendly, and the gardens filled with ducks and chickens, it felt like a mini farm.
Wasn't exactly cheap, but honestly it felt fair enough for the experience.

The Mushroom Stroganoff was a culinary delight—so good my husband used his dessert spoon to scrape every last drop! The lovely setting is a hidden gem, with ample outdoor seating perfect for sunny afternoons.
Check-in was a bit of a shambles, with no one around to help when we arrived. the lack of decent tea options in our room left us feeling a bit let down after a long drive!

During my stay, I appreciated the welcoming staff who made us feel at home. Each morning, we enjoyed a lovely continental breakfast with locally sourced options. On the last night, we had a superb meal nearby, which was a comforting choice after a long travel day. It felt relaxed and personal, making it a special family occasion for us.
The lighting in the room was not sufficient and needed a quick change. My mother wished for a brochure or postcard to remember the stay.

Charming getaway with delightful gardens
I had a wonderful one-night stay at this lovely hotel, where the beautiful gardens truly captured my heart. The room was unique with charming decor, and the food exceeded my expectations with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The friendly staff made me feel right at home, although the single-glazed windows caused some condensation issues in the morning.
